Who are the AEC DISC©® specific applications for ?

Our specific applications are complementary and optional training courses dedicated to Certified AEC DISC©® Method Consultants or Trainers, during which they learn to apply the Method to various fields : management, selling, team work and Human Resources.

What are the AEC DISC©® specific applications’ goals ?

Thanks to those applications, our certified consultants and trainers can expand their areas of professional activities and conduct trainings with our operational packages (training courses, exercise manual, slides…).
With the AEC DISC©® Method, you will be able to portray a pattern of behavioral skills regarding the individual (how can he/she adapt to others ?), but also his/her deep motivations and a pattern of job (management, sales) or function skills (how to optimize synergy in a transversal project) or both (human resources).

MANAGEMENT APPLICATION

  • Experience the relativity of perception
  • Understand 4 styles of management, according to the four colors : directive, emotional, participative, normative
  • Learn decision-making in a group management exercise
  • Learn the optimal efficiency pattern in 4 stages : me, others and the situation
  • Understand and deepen the risks and distortions of management:
    – Taking only two elements into account, excluding the third : me, others or the situation
    – Representing those risks according to the four colors : autocrat, utopian, laxist and technocrat
    – Understanding the significance and need of a hierarchy of functions and equality of people
    – Distortion 1. Confusion of registers : hierarchy of people or equality of functions.
    – Distortion 2. Taking only one criterion : hierarchy of functions or equality of people.
  • Review of the AEC DISC©® fundamentals (Marston, Jung, Spranger)
  • General summary including further insights from WM Marston’s and CG Jung’s theory
  • A package including manuals (exercises manual, participant’s manual, trainer’s manual) and slides will be delivered (USB stick and paper version)

SALES STAFF APPLICATION

  • Learn more about the different types of sellers, according to their dominant color(s), strengths and weaknesses
  • Give an overview of those different types according to the stages of the selling process :
    – Preparing the sale
    – Establishing contact
    – Creating a climate of trust
    – Qualifying the needs
    – Presenting the arguments
    – Answering to objections
    – Concluding
    – Monitoring
  • Identify your own strengths and weaknesses, as an individual and in your sales job in order to highlight your axis of improvement
  • Identify the different types of prospects and clients according to :
    – their strengths and weaknesses
    – their verbal behavior (the words they use, the questions they ask…)
